The house itself is an ideal venue for small to medium-sized awaydays/lunches/seminars/receptions etc. while marquee business events for up to 750 people can be held on the lawn. We also have a large open-field site for outdoor activities and events.
Whatever the type of event, we guarantee exclusive use, ensuring privacy and confidentiality for every client. Guests are free to use any or all of the reception and syndicate rooms. We also have a dedicated conference room, overlooking the courtyard, which can seat up to 60 delegates theatre-style.
Clients can also wander freely through the walled gardens and grounds. From the long level formal lawn in front of the house, there are glorious views across the Kent countryside.
The same views are shared by our 20 acre open field activity site which is adjacent to the house. The site is reasonably level, very free draining, and available throughout the year for shows, exhibitions, balls and corporate fun and games. Licences can be obtained to cover clay pigeon shooting. The site can accommodate thousands of visitors, and has direct access from the public roadway. We also have extensive wooded areas and a deer park with lake, which may be used for raft building activities etc.
The activity site is available on any day from 8am to midnight. However, the house itself, together with its pretty walled gardens and formal marquee lawn is normally available for business use from Monday to Friday only, from 9am to 8pm. Any use outside these hours will be subject to agreement and a price premium.
We work with some of the leading venue organisers in the country, and also with individual clients. We are happy to organise your events for you, or you may simply hire the venue.
